Gatherings are the best way to maintain healthy relationships, be it formal or informal. Anniversaries are the best way to bring together the people, commemorating either the sad incident or happy event. However, sharing happiness and dividing grieves are the sole aim of anniversaries. In addition, no anniversary is complete without, a decent meal. Death anniversary is a custom practiced in many cultures as well religions. It is observed on the day on which the loved one has died. Different culture and religions celebrate the death anniversaries. Death anniversaries in Asian culture are celebrated in a collective gathering, by praying for the deceased and making special meals to be given to the orphans. Usually such meals include fruits, wheat, and rice. In recent times, people take it convenient and more appropriate to arrange for the anniversary fruit baskets delivered, instead of food cooking. An event completing 25 years of time is termed as SILVER JUBILEE OR ANIVERSARY, on the completion of 50 years of an event; it is called as GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY and on completion of 80 years of a person or an event, and it is celebrated as DIAMOND ANNIVERSARY. Recently, the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ was celebrated all over the world on 25^th of December, with prayers being observed early in the mornings amidst the Christmas chorales in the chilly winters.

Everywhere, cakes were presented as the souvenirs to mark the birth of Jesus Christ. Moreover, Santa distributes the gifts and flowers at the doorstep of the people. Such anniversaries, pertinent to the religions are celebrated globally. Marking the birth of famous people. Like the birthday of Queen of England is also a national event. Martin Luther king Jr day is a federal holiday observed in the United States of America (USA).

Anniversaries are celebrated every day on a global scale, in different ways. Celebrating, the events, and bringing together people on one platform are the basic purpose of any type of anniversary. In addition, it is the best way to revive the past.
