Activities that help you take your mind off work and let you enjoy the beauty and bounties of Mother Nature are a must in every person’s life. Camping is one of those few clean, fun activities that you can do with just about anybody – with friends, family and colleagues.

Most camp sites have their own cooking team and designated spot, but if you want to pamper yourself with something special, then why don’t you gift yourself a cake?! The cakes that you shouldn’t be thinking about, however, are the ones that have a lot of fruits, cream and other quickly perishable ingredients. Examples would be strawberry, or vanilla cakes with a lot of cream and icing, the delicate pastries with a lot of juice and cherries in them and apple pies (because apples get spoilt so easily!). Just keep your sturdy cakes safe in air-tight containers and you can have a good snack for your entire camping duration.
