The most difficult and painful part of living at a distance from the family is missing the kids. And knowing they are missing you. But one can’t do anything. In the race of earning the livelihood and giving your family better futures fathers have to do this. How lucky are that who lives with their family and also have a sound job in their home town. But all these are the parts of life. This is how life tests us.
If your child’s birthday is near you might be wondering that what should be the ways to wish him and make him realize that you are missing him and the event. You also want to be there and you love him.
Making just phone and video calls and wishing a birthday is not enough, especially if it is your child’s birthday. He must be expecting much more form your side.

Make a meal time fun by sending hotel voucher as a birthday gift. Your child will loved the way you made his day special. Not being with him is teasing, but knowing that he is enjoying gives you a comforting feelings.
Birthday cake:
No birthday is complete without the birthday cake. And if it is a present from your side then your child love to cut the cake and remember you while doing so.
